Westmark Hotels completed some major renovations at its Westmark Anchorage Hotel, just in time for your 2018 travel plans. These renovations to the 14-floor hotel in the heart of downtown Anchorage reaffirm its place as one of the top properties in the city.

Changes in the main lobby bring sophistication and warmth, providing guests with a cozy place to mingle and gather. The lobby received new tile flooring, custom carpet, ceilings and lighting fixtures. New furnishings, including leather club chairs, were selected and additional seating was installed. The star of the lobby is its fireplace, perfect for warming up after a crisp evening out on the town, with a large, planked-wood façade and Cambria stone accents. A maple front desk with a laser-cut metal overlay is reminiscent of the waves from nearby Cook Inlet, and meets guests upon check-in.

Good news for guests! The rooms were a big focal point in the project, receiving new beds, headboards, bedding, USB charging stations, flat-screen televisions and in some rooms, even new carpet. The upper-floor corridors were given a dramatic rejuvenation, including new flooring, ceilings, lighting, wall coverings and artwork featuring natural elements of Anchorage.

Westmark Hotels is committed to ensuring its guests enjoy warm, northern hospitality for years to come. We’re excited to share our new look with you on your next trip to Alaska’s biggest city!
